VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation

I served on the Board of Directors from 1996 – 2005, and sat on the Strategic Planning Committee, the Planned Giving Committee, and a committee for the development of land owned by the foundation.
Rotary – Langley Central Rotary Club

I was a member from 2005 – 2011, including 2 years on the Board of Directors and one year as the Foundation Chair. I served on numerous committees including: the annual Wine Tasting Gala (our biggest fundraiser), the delivery of wheelchairs to Ensenada, Mexico, and chair of the “Breakfast with Santa” committee (an annual outreach program for inner-city children).

I served as a director and senior vice-president 2010 – 2013. I did extensive coaching for 9 years, including provincial championship for 9/10 year olds in Cal Ripken League, 2010, and members of the 2011 Little League World Series team.

I did extensive coaching of boys & girls soccer from 2002 – 2010.
INTERESTS

I competed in the 2009 Ironman Triathlon, Penticton, BC.

I play men’s competitive hockey.

I sail and completed my CYA Basic Cruising certification in 2012.

I ski, snowboard, back-country hike, and canoe.

I enjoy car mechanics, and I built a Shelby Cobra replica car.

I enjoy travel & horseback riding.
